Our Cottages

3 Fully equipped self contained holiday cottages set in a quiet yet easily accessible location in the village of Torver just 2 miles from Coniston.

All 3 cottages come fully equipped for your stay, all you should need to bring is food and drink.
We provide all bedding, towels, tea towels, dishcloths, an initial supply of dishwash tablets, washing up liquid, Cole & Lewis toiletries, Nespresso capsules and firelighters/logs where there is a log stove.

We have our own private parking area for the cottages, 200mts from the road up our tarmac driveway. The garden is enclosed, with public footpaths nearby for dog walking.

Old Dairy Cottage – Sleeps 2 in 1 Bedroom with 1 Bathroom.
Old Stable Cottage – Sleeps 4 in 2 Bedrooms with 1 Bathroom.
Old Pottery Cottage – Sleeps up to 6 in 3 Bedrooms with 2 Bathrooms.

Our cottages are ideally placed for easy access to Coniston village, it is possible to walk from the door up the ”Old Man”, and only 9 miles from Ambleside.

Maybe hire a mountain bike at Grizedale forest, or try the Zip wire at Honister slate mine, as well as visiting the village of Grasmere or a boat trip on lake Windermere.

The area has lots to offer for all tastes and ages.
